Our Plan
In 2021, we made the determination that we would support refugee resettlement organizations in the U.S. to help ensure Afghan refugees can be safely and compassionately resettled in Northern California.
Aid in the United States
In the US we supported the work of refugee resettlement agencies that have already received families who have fled from Afghanistan and are anticipating hundreds more to arrive well into 2022.
Impact
In 2021 we were able to provide $40,000 to support refugee resettlement organizations working to resettle Afghan refugees in the Bay Area.
What can you do?
There are many organizations doing invaluable work to help resettle Afghan refugees in the United States. The below list is not meant to be comprehensive and we encourage you to do your own research before you engage with any organization. We have also included links with additional ideas on how you can help should you be interested.
