Your donations in 2025 contributed over $130,000 to programs in Afghanistan providing education, healthcare, resettlement/refugee assistance to women and children and emergency aid to vulnerable Afghans.

The emergency relief mitigates widespread food insecurity—impacting the majority of the population—and expands access to vital healthcare services.

Stories from the field:

  • At a Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) supported community health facility in Jalmish, a remote district in Bamyan Province, Afghanistan.

  • An MSF midwife visits Khadija—who has a fever and cough caused by pneumonia—to deliver critical healthcare to this remote area

  • At an MSF-supported subhealth centre in Bamyan Province

  • Alisina, a three-year-old boy, arrived from a nearby village and is being treated for severe pneumonia

  • Due to the severity of Alisina's pneumonia, he was referred to a local district hospital for further treatment

  • MSF paid the cost of the transfer to assist the patient and their family with the financial burdens associated with getting healthcare in remote areas

While the depth and breadth of need in Afghanistan can seem daunting, it also means that every time aid is provided, a family is impacted in a profound way. Your support, kindness, and generosity have allowed us to provide essential and often life-saving aid.

"Be like a river in generosity and giving help."
